What's Been Going On...

Nick, Bryson & Masey have been working at Cornbelly's. Nick likes it a whole lot more working with other people then cleaning offices by himself. The only problem is he signed up for every shift available so he was a little stressed with working everyday and still having tons of homework. Luckily, it was a temporary job that ended November 2nd.

Hailey and I went to Jessica Atkinson's bridal shower. I cannot believe this little girl who I met when she was 5 1/2 years old is getting married. She'll definitely make a beautiful bride and a sweet wife!
My brother went to the final game of the world series and even made it on TV...here's a screen shot of his daughter's Instagram post showing him. He's the one in the middle of the screen under the word "pitches".
Bryson and I got ready to go to the temple and realized we were matching. When we got home Hailey wanted to take a picture...
...and then Brian wanted to photo bomb that picture. (I was obviously mid-sentence in this pictures.) :)
I realized in looking at the pictures on my phone after our family pictures were taken that I have kids who think they're hilarious...

Hailey in the car on our way to Wheeler Farms for our pictures.

Bryson was just being so cooperative during the pictures...

I had to get in on the action...
I think Nick and Hailey had their eyes closed praying that this photo shoot was almost over...and Bryson was still being very cooperative...NOT! :)
And even Janelle got in on the action...the photographer was her brother-in-law.
Bryson did have a very cool night at the Marine Ball where he got to meet and shake hands with Elder L. Tom Perry...who was a Marine. It was really an awesome experience for him and Courtney.
...and that's what's been going on with us.

Woodbadge

Brian went to Woodbage in the spring and part of that experience included setting some goals to accomplish by a certain date to earn their beads. Tonight we got to go to the ceremony where he received those.

I gotta be honest...I never thought Brian would own a scout uniform let alone wear one for 6 days at Woodbadge. :) I think it's awesome!

Pumpkins

We had a great time carving pumpkins this year. Bryson, Hailey & Courtney definitely put the most thought and effort into theirs...Brian's took him about 3 minutes...I refuse to touch pumpkin guts so I painted mine...and let's not even talk about Nick's...haha. :)

Both father and son think they're pretty funny in pretending to eat raw pumpkin guts.

Special girls...I think the pumpkin fumes started getting to them. :)
 Cute couple, cute pumpkins.
Brian has become the ultimate photo bomber.
Hailey was so awesome and carried the straw to the porch to put our pumpkins on...it was HEAVY!!!

...and here's Nick's special pumpkin...

We are cherishing every holiday and moment knowing that Bryson will soon leave on his mission!

How We Roll...

Just a glimpse into the life of the Morrow's...

Bryson is an obsessive ironer...and when all of the wrinkles don't come out of the sweaters he irons, this is how he takes care of them...

No permanent burn scars yet...haha

I don't like heights, nor do I like climbing up and down ladders so I enlist Hailey's help to change out the ledge decor for fall.

Rocko loves Bryson...and Bryson loves Rocko.
And sometimes Nick comes homes from Masey's house with her hair extensions on his head and he and Hailey see whose hair is longer.
And that's how we roll!

Updated Pictures of Bryson

With Bryson getting ready to leave for two years, we felt the need to get some updated pictures of him for around the house. The two pictures we have on the wall of him are from his senior year in high school and his Marine picture. So we found a great photographer and headed up to Salt Lake to get some pictures...they turned out awesome. We ended up with about 50 pictures but wanted to post just a few for our blog book.

Hailey came along as the helper/holder of everything. :)

Hailey & I entertained ourselves with selfies while they were taking the "good" pictures.

Love this boy!

Alpine Loop

In between General Conference sessions we went and picked up my parents and took a drive around the Alpine Loop. It is so beautiful up there right now as the leaves are beginning to change colors.

Brian and I attempted to take a selfie but discovered we are not talented enough to do that. :)
We stopped for lunch in Midway at an Italian restaurant we discovered when we stayed up at the Homestead in the spring. It is yummy, authentic pizza and my parents loved it as well. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon! (The kids apparently are not interested in spending the afternoon in the car with us driving around the mountains anymore.)

Homecoming

Nick's first Homecoming Dance was a blast! He asked Scilla, a senior that he didn't know super well but has always had a fun friendship with through a couple of other girls in our neighborhood. It was the perfect date as she is fun, laid back and apparently quite the dancer. :)
Nick of course had to have a booty shot during the picture taking portion of the evening...haha.
They doubled with Dallin and his date and Nick had a lot of fun with them because Dallin's date turned out to be a reptile lover whose brother has a business breeding reptiles of some kind. :)
My favorite part of the evening was after Nick went to Scilla's to pick her up, her mother came back to our house with them to get more pictures. I love this for 2 reasons: 1) Even though we had never met her, I loved that she felt comfortable to come over and take pictures with us and 2) Now when I want to follow Hailey to her dates houses in the future to take pictures, they'll know I'm not the only mother who does this. :)

I had to take a picture with them and her mother because she was dressed up to go to the General Relief Society Broadcast that evening and coincidentally she totally matched Nick. :)
