I refuse to believe my BABY is FIFTEEN...that is really unbelievable to me!
Her birthday fell on Memorial Day this year so without school to go to, her day started with her friends coming to kidnap her and take her to breakfast.
Then she came home and opened presents...
The biggest surprise were the tickets to WICKED!!! That's definitely a "what's in it for me present" because she's going to need someone to escort her to that show and that "someone" is going to be ME! :)
Then she was sweet enough to go to the Carl Bloch exhibit with me since it was the last day and I really wanted to see it.
After that I dropped her and her friend off at the Highland pond and they spent some time wandering around and taking pictures.
Nick had to work all day and was going to miss her birthday dinner so we took him some food. :)
She picked Tucano's for her dinner and invited a couple of friends along since most of her friends were busy with their families for Memorial Day...we're going to have a bbq in June for a 2nd birthday for her when the rest of her friends are available. :)
This was when our waiter scared her to death by bringing out the loud people to sing Happy Birthday to a person next to us...she was terrified it was for her even though she asked the guy not to do it. :)
...and of course a picture with the Rocky Mountain Chocolate bear.
With this awesome age comes the moment she's been waiting for for a LONG time (and every parent dreads)...getting her drivers permit. She passed the test on her first try and walked out of there pretty excited.
I had to add in this picture because I love her hair in it. :)
And she's off...why on earth the state of Utah thinks it's a good idea to have parents teach their children to drive is beyond me. Bad idea!!!!! Bad, bad idea!!!
Amongst all the excitement of the last few days, sadly we had to say goodbye to Sis Jensen. She was transferred down to Orem.
