Abandoned Bunny Babies

Nick took on the task of trying to nurse tiny abandoned baby bunnies back to health. Their mother is at the farm, but she wants nothing to do with them. He found the best way to get them to drink was using a paint brush to absorb some milk and the bunnies would suck it off. 

The chances of them living and thriving are very slim but Nick will never give up on a baby animal!!!

Driving the Carriage

Nick is training to be able to drive the carriage and the teams for the wagon rides at the farm. This is what he has been most excited to do since he started working there but you have to be 18 to be eligible. He is now putting in all his training hours and will hopefully officially move up to driver status right after his birthday in July.

Today is THE DAY!

Hailey is 16...and LICENSED!

We got these bracelets for everyone at her party. :)

 The traditional "freedom pack" for the 16th birthday...gift cards for gas and restaurants.

 Couldn't be more excited to have her license...no more mom and dad riding with her everywhere.

 And she didn't waste anytime taking off without us! :)

Sunday Afternoon at the Morrow's

Just a typical Sunday afternoon full of bunnies, goats, bows and carrots.

Sweet Sixteen

I can't believe my baby is turning SIXTEEN! 

We decided to throw her a surprise party and was a COMPLETE surprise!!! Her reaction was priceless!

I ordered this sign as a backdrop for a photo booth and after Brian and I hung it up he demonstrated some awesome poses in front of it...hahaha.

 Milk jug glasses with little chalkboards on them so the girls could put their names on their drinks.

 Megan Brown, owner of The Sweettooth Fairy sent me a text a few weeks before Hailey's birthday and "asked" if she could make Hailey's cake for her birthday. Um YES!!!!!! This woman is amazing and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this incredible cake!

 We got Hailey out of the house by having Bryson ask her to go suit shopping with him. (We knew she would go if Bryson asked her.) :) Then when they got back he asked her to come down stairs with him to take some pictures of him...which is something they've done before downstairs so it was PERFECT! As soon as she hit the bottom stair, her friends jumped out and yelled surprise and scared her to death!!!! hahahahah I love her response of putting both arms crossed in front of her and facing herself right into the wall...apparently that's a good defensive move when you are startled. :)

 She really has awesome friends and they had a great time eating pizza and cake and taking a thousand pictures!!! :)

We sure love this girl and are so grateful to have her as our daughter. The time is going way too fast and I will continue to cherish every moment we have left with her in our home!!!!!

C(Leo)

Nick decided he would buy Hailey a bunny from the farm for her birthday. So in true Hailey fashion, she needed to pretty-up the old rabbit hutch. 

 I didn't get an "after" picture but I LOVE the blue color she chose and she did a great job!

Before getting the bunny, she decided she would name him Leo. But then lo and behold "he" was actually a "she" but she had already fallen in love with the name Leo. So, officially, her name is Cleo but we call her Leo for short. :)

Henry the Pheasant

Nick brought home a pheasant from the farm and he now lives in our backyard. His name is Henry and he is very old for a pheasant but his wings are clipped and he is our "guard pheasant". He literally walks the borders of our yard and chases off any other birds that try to land in our yard. He also likes to perch on top of the rabbit hutch. I actually really enjoy having Henry around! :)
