In order to even try out for the sophomore girls basketball team, Hailey has had to commit a big chunk of her summer to basketball...including conditioning on Monday's and Wednesday's from 7-9am, open gym on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 1-4pm and tournaments throughout the month of June.
I didn't get a picture of the best moment of the tournament for Hailey. She was put into the JV game with the varsity coach watching so you'd think she'd be nervous to play with the older girls and all the coaches watching. Within a minute of being put in that game she popped out to the top of the key to get a pass and the girl she was supposed to pass it to was covered so she simply pulled up and swished a 3 pointer. The coaches reactions were priceless. And the best part was that she acted like she does that everyday. :)
