Officially An Adult

Nick is EIGHTEEN!

This picture represents him perfectly...haha. He is definitely the turkey whisperer...his turkeys literally come over to him and jump up on his lap!

 Nick thinks Grandma Morrow makes the best chocolate cake in the whole world so of course that is what he requested when Grandma asked him what he'd like for dessert for his birthday dinner. :)

 And you're never too old to blow out birthday candles!

We love Nick more than words can describe. My heart hurts a little bit to watch him get older but I'm also very excited to see what his future holds!

Bridal Shower

I gotta admit, it's a little crazy to be throwing a bridal shower for our first daughter-in-law. Wasn't Bryson just 5 yesterday? :) 

We did these jars with ice cream in a big bucket of ice to make their own sundaes with.

 All the toppings for the sundaes.

 Megan, from The Sweet Tooth Fairy donated the cake bites...so generous. Hailey made those beautiful pink cupcakes.

 Hailey and Molly (Sis Cochrane) made home made hot fudge...delish!

 One of the neat things that night is that Sandra could come. She was leaving for her mission before the wedding so it was great that she could come to the shower!

 Not the best picture of either one of us...haha...but it's the only one we got together that night. :)

We were so thankful for this wonderful support for Courtney and Bryson!

Deer Creek

There's nothing better than a day at the lake.

Sadly, Nick had to work so Hailey brought her friend Kenna with us. 

 They did great out on the paddle boards and loved it so much they decided they needed their own...until they learned how expensive they are so they're good with renting...haha.

 Brian got in a good nap after lunch. :)

I would be a happy girl if I could spend every Saturday at a lake...I think Hailey would be too! :)

Nick on the News...Again

The farm was being spotlighted on the news for Dairy Days and in the past, Nick has been the one holding the animal or the leash or something like that while someone else was being interviewed. This time, HE was the one interviewed and they did 3 different segments to highlight different things throughout the farm.

He did AWESOME!

Engagements

I wish I could post every single picture from their engagement photo shoot because they are all GORGEOUS!!!!!

They've set their wedding date for July 29th so we're pretty excited for that date.

What a beautiful couple...inside and out!

Bryson's proposal to Courtney was awesome!

He and his friends rehearsed a dance and he made arrangements with the movie theater that when he sat Courtney in a chair after the movie they saw, the music would start playing on the overhead speakers. He invited all the families and friends to come watch and be part of the moment and asked his sisters to make signs to hold up and he was specific about what he wanted on the signs. :) 

 Courtney's mom was a nervous wreck while we were waiting for them to come out of the movie because she thought someone would be seen and blow the surprise. Nick ended up just laying down because he kept being told to get down...hahaha.

 Kale (Elder Wright) and Corbin (Elder Standefer) were invited to participate in the festivities as well.

 After the dance he slid across the floor and proposed. Such a sweet moment!!!!!

Always fun pictures when Nick is involved. :)

We couldn't be more excited to welcome Courtney to the family!!!

Mother/Daughter Road Trip to Douglas, Wyoming

Beckie was flying in to Wyoming to spend some time at Carole's so Hailey and I headed over there for the weekend to join the party. When Carole invited us, it was supposed to be a surprise for Beck, but apparently Carole slipped and spilled the surprise while we were driving over. :)

This first picture is out of order but I don't know how to fix that. :) Carole and Larry have an awesome street legal ATV that we drove over to get flowers. On the way over Hailey sat in the bed in the back. :)

 Since Hailey has her license now, she did some of the driving on the way over. That was slightly nerve-wracking to me, but it was good experience for her. :)

 Of course you have to start off the weekend with some awesome selfies. Good thing we had Hailey there to show us how it's done. :)

 Hailey had been playing with my hair while we were sitting around chatting and ended up doing pony tails...which of course Beckie and Carole then wanted as well. :)

 Hailey got to drive the fun ATV on the way home from the flower nursery.

 And poor Carole sat in the bed in the back. :)

 I've always wanted to learn how to crochet and Carole and Beckie know how so I asked them to teach Hailey and I...Hailey was a little less than thrilled but gave it her best shot.

 Carole was a very enthusiastic teacher. :)

 I was very proud of my first row.

 Hailey had her own unique technique.

 Fun bbq with delicious food and great company.

It was a great weekend full of laughs and I was really happy to have Hailey there with me!
