I'm thankful for my sweet husband that sent me flowers on Valentine's day along with giving me earrings and writing out the lyrics to a beautiful song that he also gave me the CD of. He also gave Hailey her own little bouquet of flowers as well...so sweet!
Hailey also had her science fair last week and did a great job making her display. All the 5th graders spent the day in the cafeteria with their displays while all the other grades came through to see them and ask questions.
One of the things I'm most thankful for this last week is that Nick's city league basketball team won their first game. :) They had not won one yet this season so it was a BIG day! Luckily he plays on the church team as well and they've gone undefeated this year so he's having a great time there. The cool thing in the win on Saturday for the city team is Nick and his buddy scored 20 of their 27 points...he and his friend Nick scored 5 baskets each so they were happy boys after the game. Wahoo!!!
One thing I am not as thankful for, but I do understand, is that the primary presidency I serve in at church is going to be released. I have loved serving with these women, but our president, Heather's husband Greg just got called to be our new bishop so that means she is going to be released...so sad!
